"I have wanted to write for some time now and say how much I have appreciated the time I have spent with Becky Holsen in her wonderful yoga classes. It is always impressive to me that she comes across as someone who has found the right direction in her life and is doing what she is perfectly suited for. Her warm, nurturing presence has provided the environment I have always wanted in yoga, and her suggestions and guidance throughout the experience have been encouraging and motivating to me. When Becky prompts us to "witness" what our body is doing, and not "judge" it, that strikes me as the perfect position for me to be in while trying to progress through my practice. I have become committed to continuing yoga and integrating it into my life because of Becky."

"My yoga teacher, Becky Holsen, moved to Plaza Wellspring a couple of years ago. I love her manner of imparting yoga. She’s a gentle soul, always urging us to get the most out of our session but never to strain or over-exert ourselves. To listen to our bodies and to our breath. Whether it’s Hatha yoga or restorative yoga, I always emerge refreshed, renewed and calmer — feeling more capable, more whole, more myself.
And then there is the space itself that Plaza Wellspring offers for a variety of health-promoting and consciousness-raising activities and events. It’s on the top floor of a building near the Plaza and the light always affords the class space an open, airy feeling. I walk in and am prepared to open myself to good experiences.
I’m grateful to my inspirational yoga instructor and to all who contribute to Plaza Wellspring’s caring and soul-strengthening ambiance."

"The best friend I've made at Plaza Wellspring is my own body. No longer just an achy thing I drag with me through the day, I am learning to see my less-than-"perfect" body with curiosity, with gratitude, and with awe. It's like coming home to myself after a long, long trip away.}

"I am so impressed with the staff at Plaza Wellspring, as well as the facility, which is refreshing, calming and well organized. This organziation has really changed me. I would suggest for anyone to try it. There are a lot of different things to better yourself - body, mind and spirit.

" I always look forward to my pilates class at Plaza Wellspring. It is a great escape that is both relaxing and energizing. Lee Anne Jester and all the instructors provide a program that is good for mind and body (especially those post-baby abs)!

YOGA
"When I was a young mother, I used to do yoga when my babies were napping. My eldest daughter remembers when I would light a candle and do my yoga in our front room. Six years ago I used a video tape to again start this practice. It went by the wayside in a few months.
Recently, I read a book that was recommended to me called Happiness Is Your Creation. It stated that happiness was within us to create and foster ourselves. The methods this book recommended were yoga and meditation. Then I received the spring class schedule for Communiversity and saw the listings for ‘gentle’ yoga and yoga for ‘pain and stress relief’ with Becky at Plaza Wellspring. I knew I should go and check this out.
The instructor, Becky, called the night before to remind me of the class, and I was impressed with the feeling of caring. As I arrived at the Plaza Wellspring studio the atmosphere was comfortable and Becky welcomed me. The other students were friendly, and I did not feel awkward or out of place because of my lack of formal training and the length of time since I had tried any yoga activity.
After the first class I decided to come back for more, and the feeling of deep relaxation at the end of each session has been incredible. Becky has a wonderfully soothing voice along with an extensive knowledge of yoga. She has adaptations of poses for me to do when I cannot get into certain positions, and makes sure I receive the maximum benefit from each session. This is an altogether great experience, and a very comfortable place to relax, breathe, just be present, and rejuvenate.

"The children (in Lee Anne's class) enjoy role playing how to be a peaceful warrior in everyday situations ... They are getting so much from her lessons. I do appreciate her contribution to their character development and to their own sense of personal peace."
