Meditation, Happiness and Inner Peace

What is the mind? How can we use it to create positive changes in our life? Where do negative minds come from and how can we reduce and abandon them? How can we improve our concentration and other peaceful minds? How can we transform our mind and our self? What is an enlightened mind? We will answer these questions, and many more, all while learning to meditate in depth on the beautiful and blissful nature of our pure mind.
Drop-ins are welcome.  Classes are open to everyone.  Each class includes guided meditations, practical advice on integrating meditation and positive thinking into our daily life and discussion with like-minded people.

Yoga for Beginners

This 6-week series makes it easy for anyone to get started in yoga and start feeling healthier right away! Perfect for brand-new beginners, recent beginners, or those returning to yoga after some time away. You will learn basic yoga postures that develop strength, flexibility, vitality, posture and balance — all with a compassionate, skilled approach. Each class will include relaxation techniques for reducing tension and calming the mind. You will receive handouts to make practicing at home easy. Yoga mats and other props are provided.
